“Thriller.” “Monster Mash.” “I Put a Spell on You.” If you’ve had these creepy classics on repeat all October long, you’ll fit right in at the Halloween Howl. It’s a dance party dedicated exclusively to spooky songs. The Spanish Ballroom at Glen Echo Park hosts the bash on Saturday, October 29th.

Live bands storm the stage starting at 9 p.m. with a host of Halloween songs from the past five decades on the docket. As they belt out your favorite autumn hits, costumed performers move to the music. Let them serve as an encouragement to get out and hit the dance floor yourself! But first, before you even arrive, spend some time getting all gussied up in your spookiest Halloween costume. Then gather a few friends and dance the night away, maybe with a cocktail or two in hand. The party keeps rolling until midnight, serving as the perfect way to kick off a full weekend of revelry—one that might spill out into the workweek when All Hallow’s Eve actually falls!
